On page 351, Fabrizio describes the work habits, work-related postures, and VDT workstation of a woman with upper-extremity and neck pain. This painting—executed long before computers became integral not only to professional but to personal life—shows workers bending over the keys, fingers tense and extended, in a crowded office. The artist, who reportedly called his style “dynamic cubism,” constructs necks, elbows, wrists, desks, paper, floorboards, and file drawers in a flurry of right angles.
