To the Editor:
For the past 20 years, the Section on Women's Health of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) has been working diligently to bring awareness about the special health care needs of women to the physical therapy community. Our efforts have been met with very little formal recognition. Therefore, on behalf of the Section on Women's Health, our thanks to Jules M Rothstein, PhD, PT, FAPTA, for his Editor's note entitled "On Women's Health" in the July 1996 issue of the Journal.
Our Section can be proud of its accomplishments under the leadership of women with vision: Elizabeth Noble, Annette Iglarsh, Rhonda Kotarinos, and Jane Frahm. Their collective efforts have helped to direct physical therapists to a more comprehensive level of care for women....
