There are certainly studies on cell lines and whole animal studies that have used a treatment frequency of five times per week. Baxter1 notes that there continues to be uncertainty with regard to treatment of human wounds with laser irradiation. He refers to one report of treatment of a subject with daily irradiation that led to healing of a 15-year ulcer problem after 2 months of therapy.
