To tbe Editor:
Continuing education is a mandatory part of our state licensure for occupational therapists and physical therapists. Fulfilling the amount of continuing education needed has not been difficult for us; however, finding courses to meet the needs of the experienced therapist has not been easy.
Recent experiences at a continuing education course further reminded us of the frustrations encountered with current continuing education practices in occupational therapy and physical therapy. We attended a very well-advertised and professionally presented seminar that, as advertised, appeared to be a course that would meet our knowledge needs. What we received was an entry-level review of therapeutic theories and anatomy that neither of us needed.
