In the February 1993 issue of Physical Therapy, the key words Lower extremity, ankle and foot; Orthotics/splints/casts, shoe modifcations; Pain; and Kinesiology/biomechanics, lower extremity were omitted from the article by Eng and Pierrynowski entitled "Evaluation of Soft Foot Orthotics in the Treatment of Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome." The Journal regrets the error.
In his commentary on the article by Binkley et al ("Diagnostic Classification of Patients with Low Back Pain: Report on a Survey of Physical Therapy Experts") in the March 1993 issue of the Journal, Dr Paul Beattie notes that the next to last paragraph on page 152 erroneously states that the presence of a herniated disk necessarily results in symptoms. It should be corrected to state: "Conversely, the presence of a herniated disk does not [emphasis added] necessarily result in symptoms.7,8"
