Errata

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

Note the following corrections for the 1984 BIOMECHANICS special issue:

1. On page 1893, in 4.7, equations (16) and (17) are wrong. The sin and cos should be reversed.

2. On page 1893, Fig. 8 and the legend should be as follows:

Fig. 8. The projection of the vector A onto vector B is A·B divided by the absolute value of B where A·B is the scalar product.

3. On page 1896, in 6.1, the NOTE should read as follows: Pure water at 0°C has a density of 1,000 kg/m3. Objects with a density greater than 1,000 kg/m3 will sink in water; those with a density less than 1,000 kg/m3 will float in water.
