Education

Authors' Response

Rosemary Scully and Richard Cox

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

We thank Mr. Morrow for expanding on the discussion of our paper. We believe he has provided some interesting insight into how our data might provide background for further discussions of physical therapy education.

In response to some of Mr. Morrow's specific questions we offer the following:

QUESTION 1:

What types of questions were used in the questionnaire? Were student responses limited to a predetermined set of options or were more open-ended questions used?

ANSWER:

The responses to the questions were identified and the respondent was asked to check the appropriate response. On several items, the respondent did have an opportunity to select more than one response or could choose "other" and explain.

QUESTION 2:

When did the students complete the questionnaire? Did most of the participating students complete the questionnaire at approximately the same time during the academic year?...
